 Whenever I proudly tell someone I am a film major, the automatic follow-up question is, “What do you plan to do with that?” My answer is this: to change the world. I hope my creations and unique viewpoint help others. Film has always been an outlet for me, both creatively and as a person. Cinema has been a driving force in shaping me into the person I am today. Film was a source of comfort for me growing up.  A career ambition of mine is to be able to watch a television show or movie and feel pride knowing that I made it.

 I am currently working on a documentary about a dragon boat race team made up of breast cancer survivors, a topic that is very close to my heart and family. I am incredibly proud of being able to tell the story, as I believe that cinema can be a tool to help and support people struggling with similar issues.
