In the summer of 2022, I studied film abroad in Paris, France. I created a thirty-episode film series on YouTube. Each video showcases my adventures in Paris and the many adventures I encountered. Some are funny while others are more serious. This trip allowed me to play around with various ways of telling a story, even with the simple topic of what I did today. Based on what I observed, I created each episode on the spot and then worked to edit the B-roll into the short film series titled LSU in Paris 2022. I learned to create film content across communication and cultural barriers.

One of the highlights of the trip was seeing the first Lumière camera and being able to see how film has evolved making ways for new technology. One of my favorite filmmakers is George Méliès. The Cinémathèque Française  dedicated the entire exhibit to him. It is interesting to see how the cinemas past influences film today as many of Méliès technics are still in use.
